Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 200g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanillin
  • 60g powdered sugar
  • 60g cold butter
  • 400g sour cream
  • 200g yogurt
  • 150g sugar (divided into two parts)
  • 30g starch
  • Pinch of salt

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 20cm cake mold with baking paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, vanillin, and powdered sugar.
  3. Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and crumble it with your hands until well combined.
  4. Separate the eggs, putting the yolks in one bowl and the whites in another.
  5. Add the egg yolks to the flour mixture and knead the dough until smooth.
  6. Place 1/3 of the dough in the fridge for later use.
  7. Spread the remaining dough evenly in the prepared cake mold.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix together the sour cream, yogurt, half of the sugar, and starch until smooth.
  9. In another bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form, gradually adding the remaining sugar.
