Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small carrot (for the nose)
  • 2 black olives (for the eyes and buttons)
  • 1 red bell pepper (for the scarf)
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley (for decoration)
  • Olive oil (for brushing)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to form a circle (about 12 inches in diameter).
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Create a snowman shape by placing two large dollops of cheese for the body and a smaller one for the head.
  6. Use the mini pepperoni for additional decoration (optional), or simply leave it as is.
  7. Slice the carrot into a small triangle shape for the snowman’s nose, and place it in the middle of the pizza’s head.
  8. For the eyes, use two black olives, and place them above the nose. For the buttons, place additional olives down the snowman’s body.
  9. Slice the red bell pepper into thin strips and lay them around the snowman’s neck to form a scarf.
  10. Brush the edges of the dough with olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  11. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  12. Remove the pizza from the oven, add fresh basil or parsley for extra color, and serve hot.
