Full Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium tortilla (8 inch/20 cm)
  • ½ avocado
  • 1-2 bacon strips
  • 1 vine-ripened tomato
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Pickled jalapeños (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Cook the bacon strips in a pan over medium heat until they are crispy. Once cooked, set them aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  2. Slice the avocado and tomato into thin slices.
  3. Lay the tortilla flat on a plate or cutting board. Spread the sliced avocado evenly over the tortilla.
  4. Place the cooked bacon strips on top of the avocado.
  5. Add the sliced tomato on top of the bacon.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tomato.
  7. Add pickled jalapeños according to your taste preference.
  8. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  9. Carefully roll the tortilla, tucking in the sides as you go, to form a wrap.
  10. Optional: If you prefer your wrap warm and the cheese melted, you can heat it in a pan over medium heat for a couple of minutes on each side or until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is slightly crispy.
  11. Cut the wrap in half and serve immediately.
