Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 300g pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine, sugar, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Stir until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil and swirl to coat the bottom.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the pork slices and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the sliced mushrooms and onion to the pan, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms have softened.
  6. Pour the prepared sauce over the pork and mushrooms, stirring to coat evenly. Add 1/4 cup water and simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  7. Once the sauce has thickened, garnish with green onions and serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.
