Ingredients:

  • 300g boneless chicken breast
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 30g butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tsp all-purpose flour

Directions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with black pepper, chili flakes, and salt.
  2. Heat oil in a HexClad 12″ Hybrid Stainless Steel Frying Pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until browned on each side and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Stir in flour and cook for another minute to create a roux.
