Ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork tenderloin (pork fillet)
  • Vegetable oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 kg potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 250 g bacon, chopped
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Thyme and Italian herbs, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare the Pork: Season the pork tenderloin with salt, pepper, thyme, Italian herbs, and paprika. Heat some vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear the pork on all sides until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Cook the Vegetables: In the same pan, add the chopped onions, grated carrot, and sliced mushrooms. Cook until softened. Pour in the milk and bring to a simmer. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
