- 10.58 oz (300 g) broccoli, cut into small florets
- 3 slices ginger, thinly sliced
- 10.58 oz (300 g) beef, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 3 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
- 2 tsp sugar (divided)
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (divided)
- 5 tsp corn starch
- 9 tsp water (divided)
- 4 tsp oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup water
- Directions:
- In a bowl, marinate beef with 1/2 tsp soy sauce, 3 tsp dark soy sauce, 1 1/2 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 3/4 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 5 tsp corn starch, and 8 tsp water. Mix well and let sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over high heat, add marinated beef, and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, stir-fry until fragrant. Add broccoli, 1 tbsp cooking wine, 2 tsp dark soy sauce, 1 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup water, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Stir well.
